Aquaculture Services

We are a unique company that caters to the vast needs within the aquaculture industry. Above or below the water, we offer an array of services not usually found in one company. From general maintenance to dive retrievals, no job is too demanding!

Services Offered

Installation/Removal

Anchor chains, anchor blocks, debris, water intakes.

Maintenance

Underwater servicing of oyster rafts, long lines and geoduck beds.

Surveying

Investigating new, old or potential aquaculture sites with video footage provided upon request.

Pipeline/Cable Installation & Repair

The process of laying in cable or assembling pipeline at a desired depth. Normally this depth is below the substrate and must be trenched in with a HAND DREDGE.

Harvesting/Restocking

We specialize in harvesting: geoduck, oysters, scallops, sea cucumbers and sea urchins. Restock geoduck on private leases only. Prices negotiable and subject to market fluctuation.

Equipment

75′ (dive) work vessel, lifting capacity of 10 tons. Ideal for setting anchors on oyster rafts or long lines. Also used for the removal of heavy objects from the ocean floor.
Base rate: $500/hr

40′ (dive) work vessel, lifting capacity of 8 tons.
Base rate: $250

2-32′ (dive) tender skiffs capable of assisting our larger vessels or carrying out light duty dive operations independently. Ex. harvesting of geoducks, oysters, etc.
Base rate: $250 per skiff

Experience

We have two certified 100 tonne captains with 75 years of combined marine and aquaculture services.

Divers

A 1989 graduate from the Canadian Underwater Training Centre. Underwater welding and saturation diving including North Sea ticket.

A 2000 graduate from Intratek Diving.

All divers are fully qualified and meet our WCB standards.
